Refund and Cancellation Policy for GourGopal
Effective Date: April 15, 2026
At GourGopal, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship of our handcrafted Laddu Gopal poshaks and accessories sourced from Nabadwip Dham. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.
1. Order Cancellation
Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order for a full refund if it has not yet been dispatched. Please contact us via WhatsApp or email within 12 hours of placing the order to request a cancellation.
After Dispatch: Once an order has been handed over to our courier partners, it cannot be cancelled. You will need to receive the package and initiate a standard return.
Custom Orders: Orders for custom-sized or specially commissioned poshaks cannot be cancelled once the crafting process has begun.
2. Return Policy
We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date, subject to the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
- It must be in its original packaging with all tags attached.
- Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene and devotional reasons, certain items cannot be returned. This includes custom-fitted poshaks, worn garments, and items purchased during clearance sa
3. The Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected by our team in Nabadwip, we will send you an email or message to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original method of payment (UPI, Credit Card, etc.) via our payment gateway.
- Processing Time: Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the credited amount to reflect in your bank account after the return is approved.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): For COD orders, we will request your UPI ID or bank account details to transfer the refund amount.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong size sent, defective item), GourGopal will cover the return shipping costs.
If the return is due to a change of mind or incorrect size ordered by the customer, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photograph of the defect. We will immediately arrange for a replacement or a full refund.
